AVIVA-BERLIN: So how do you feel?
Angela Robinson: I am so excited. I'm having the best time here in Berlin with this festival.
AVIVA-BERLIN: Is this your first time to Berlin?
Angela Robinson: It's my second time. I was here with a short film of D.E.B.S. last year.
AVIVA-BERLIN: How did you come up with the idea of the D.E.B.S.?
Angela Robinson: Actually, a girl I once knew told me that she was recruited into the CIA by a secret test from the government. That idea kinda stuck and became the genesis for the D.E.B.S.
AVIVA-BERLIN: How long did it take you from having the initial idea to finally showing the film to an audience?
Angela Robinson: I had the idea probably five years ago but I didn't actually start working on the script. It took about six months to make the short and then I wrote the feature at the same time I was making the short. So it all happened fairly quickly.
AVIVA-BERLIN: Can you tell us something about your next project?
Angela Robinson: I hope to direct a big action-comedy.
AVIVA-BERLIN: Great. We wish you every success with it. One last question: What book are you reading at the moment?
Angela Robinson: Actually, I've just been reading scripts (laughs).
